But when? When is the best time to plant a tree? It has been said that the best time to plant a tree is 100 years ago. The second-best time is today.

Everyone agrees that investing is good, but when is the best time to invest? Stock values bounce around, but tend to go up over time. It has been said that the best time to invest in stocks is 20 or 30 years ago. The second-best time is today.
Recent downturns make now a better time to invest than before those downturns. So, if you have dollars that you have been holding, waiting for the right time to invest you might want to consider the lesson of planting trees.
